The short answer
A digital download is the most flexible default if you are comfortable saving and backing up files. USB is easier to hand to someone or plug into many TVs, but may add a fee. DVD suits an existing disc player, yet it is less convenient for copying, editing, and long-term access.

The safest practical choice
Choose a service that gives you downloadable files even if you also order USB or DVD. After delivery, keep the working copy on your computer and make at least two additional copies on separate storage, with one kept elsewhere.
USB, DVD, and provider cloud access are delivery methods—not permanent preservation plans. Any single device, disc, or account can fail or become inaccessible.
